Syd Marshall's Kodachromes

A collection of Kodachromes (and some Agfachromes) from the 1960s, taken by Syd Marshall from Liverpool, showing his family at home and on holiday in England, Scotland and Wales.

This site is dedicated to my late father-in-law Syd Marshall, who was a keen amateur photographer, and carefully documented his growing family at home and on holiday in England, Scotland and Wales during the 1960s and 1970s. He used a Kodak Retinette 1b 35mm viewfinder camera, which had a Rodenstock Reomar 1:2.8/45mm lens, made in Germany by Kodak AG, and until the late 70s used mostly Kodachrome slide film. These were stored in labelled boxes, and currently reside in my attic. Several of the images have now been added to the Getty Images Fototrove Collection.

This site is a intended as a tribute to his skill as a photographer, and my desire to display his photographs to a wider audience.
